“Fashion is a vibrant conversation starter and often a daring rule-breaker,” Sharon explains. This has been a guiding force throughout her career. Fueled by a fascination with the transformative power of style, she made a series of strategic moves. As a buyer in the garment district, she gained valuable insight into the world of fashion commerce. A career transition led to designing the Wong Kar-wai film, My Blueberry Nights with Jude Law and Natalie Portman, a role that allowed her to combine creativity with storytelling in dynamic new ways. Today, Sharon’s love for fashion is enhanced by her partnership with Stephanie in S²Style, where the closet is a playground and every outfit is a new opportunity for self-expression. Sharon emphasizes, “My greatest joy comes from witnessing a person’s transformation in the mirror—the moment when their shoulders straighten and their energy shifts.”

Stephanie’s entry into costume design is rooted in indie theater and dance. “In those creative playgrounds, I learned how magical costumes could be--transforming not only performers but entire stories,” she recalled. A career pivot to styling commercials landed her first film, set against the moody backdrop of post-WWII Vermont. Subsequent work featured notable actors Kevin Bacon, Sarah Paulson, and Idris Elba, solidifying her place in the industry. Fun fact: her collab with Marvel Studios led to judging duties at Comic-Cons across Paris, Chicago, and NYC, where she was wowed by mind-blowing, hand-crafted cosplay. Together, Stephanie and Sharon combined their strengths and vision to conceive S²Style. “My passion for personal styling has only intensified through a kaleidoscope of experiences,” she adds. “I know that true style unlocks a thrilling quest of self-discovery and outward expression.”
